Future Events for “Scares That Care!”

I just wanted to let everyone know about some of the future events that we have planned for “Scares That Care!” I certainly hope you can attend one…if not all of them!

First - PLEASE come to the Horrorfind Weekend Convention, which is being held in Baltimore, September 25th-27th, 2009. You can win an all expense paid trip to Transylvania! All proceeds from this raffle go to The Kennedy-Krieger Institute - This year’s charity that “Scares That Care!” is collecting for!

Second - After last year’s mega-fun time, we’ll be having a “Scares That Care!” benefit dinner and dance, sometime in the Spring of 2010. This is a great event, filled with fun, food, music and good friends. best of all - it’s a great way to raise money for sick kids! You can dress up, dress down or come in costume. The scariest part of the evening will be hearing me sing karoke!

Third - We have, in the works, a truly fun event that I’m REALLY looking forward to hosting. I’m organizing a “Zombie Walk,” a fundraiser where people can get pledge sheets, dress in costume (certificates will be given for the best adult and child’s costume), and walk to raise money for sick kids! Stay tuned for this event, because more fun events during this function will be announced. I’m looking to hold the “Zombie Walk” sometime in the fall of 2010.

As usual, I appreciate all the support that “Scares That Care!” receives. Your generosity in helping us to help sick kids is what keeps us going.
