At 11:22 p.m. on 06/10/11, “Scares That Care!” reached a milestone of 3,000 “Likes” on it’s Facebook page. This is truly a remarkable achievement, because starting out as a small, one person operation, the charity has grown by leaps and bounds since it’s inception. When you consider the small amount that people generally donate, but multiply that small amount by a large number, you can see the benefit of having the global reach of the internet. On a recent donation day – “Friday the 13th” (of May), “Scares That Care!” was able to raise $2,210.00 in a 24-hour period. Most of these donations were in the form of $5.00 increments.
